I've a "thing" in regard to yellow balloons. When I was a little kid, living at New York city, my mother got me a dirigible-shaped yellow balloon during our visit to a department store (either Gimbel Brothers or R. H. Macy & Co.) and while we were walking home I lost my grip on the balloon's string. Away it went; and I cried. I can still see it, floating over the crowd....
